LEARNING DOUBLETAP

Learning to Doubletap is fun. There are only two basic principles you must learn first: dribbling the balls from a standstill, and steering — controlling where the balls go.

DRIBBLING A STILL BALL

  • Start off with the left ball.
  • Use your right hand to dribble the left ball with the right stick — right hand to left ball first.
  • Once the ball is bouncing, switch to the left hand and dribble with the left stick.
  • Continue with the right ball using the right stick.

STEERING

  • You need to control where the balls go.
  • Start off with cones or track and field lane markers.
  • Guide both balls through your course while keeping the rhythm going.
